This 2-beroom, 1-bath unit at 901 Avenue H, apt. 1E in Midwood on the 1st floor (one floor up for street level) recently had a price drop to $465K, maintenance is $872/month. From the photos, the apartment appears in decent shape. Sure you can re-do the kitchen and bathroom but they’re usable as is. It has some charm with hard wood floors throughout, high base board, the arched opening between the foyer and dining area and built-in shelves in dining area.

The living room is sunken with the dining area right outside the kitchen which has nice proportions with an eat-in area. If you don’t need the eat-in area in the kitchen, the cabinets/ counters can be extended for an enormous kitchen!

The biggest downside is it appears the apartment faces a light well, so your views out the windows are a brick wall and other apartment windows. Is the price drop enough for this to be a good deal?
