Two-Bedroom in Midwood, $415K
This two-bedroom apartment recently had a price reduction to $415K. Is it time to snap it up? It’s located in Midwood at 1615 Avenue I, #312 (several apartments for sale in this building) and maintenance is $902/month.
Sure there’s lots and lots of grey wall to wall carpet; as in EVERY room except the kitchen and bathroom is carpeted! But could there be hard wood floors underneath? Yes, there’s dated furniture, but that’s not staying. Also overlook the paneling on the doors and the wallpaper in the kitchen and bathroom; those can be removed. And look beyond the wood built-in bookcases that can be painted or removed.
After you do some minor cosmetic changes (or more work in also redoing the kitchen and bathroom), you’ll get a very spacious 2-bedroom apartment! There’s a sunken living area, a dining area outside the kitchen AND another area (the one with the built-in bookcases) that can be used as a home office. The two bedrooms are nice sized and the bathroom is a four fixture with a separate bathtub and shower.
Will the price reduction entice a potential buyer? I think so and this will now go quickly.
